Payment:The default credit card on file with your account will be charged immediately at the close of the auction. Payment onsite is accepted at this location in the form of cash—exact change or Rounded up (0.50 - $1) is required when making payment. Invoices over $2,000 are not able to be paid by the credit card you have on file. You will need to pay with cash or a cashier's check. Exact change or rounded up is required on cash payments (no cash/change is kept onsite).
Tax-Exempt Purchases:All tax exempt purchasers must notify Mister Scott LLC and provide current Reseller's certificates from the state of Kansas. Bidders must immediately notify Mister Scott LLC if the tax status changes, and bidders are responsible to remit taxes if they fail to pay taxes to Mister Scott LLC, but they are legally responsible to pay tax on a purchase. For tax exempt bidders, please send documentation to misterscottskc@gmail.com and include your name and bidder number for tax to be removed from future invoices. It will not be removed from past/prior invoices.
Liability:Mister Scott LLC its member's and employee's liability shall be limited to the refund of the bidder's purchase price.
User Information:By bidding on this auction, you are becoming a Mister Scott LLC customer. Mister Scott LLC is a distinct company from Equip-Bid. By bidding, you are agreeing that Mister Scott LLC may use your email and phone number to communicate about orders, pickup times, reservations, promotions, sales, and other communications.
This is an online-only auction bound by all legal rights and remedies in the state in which the auction occurs. Do not bid if you cannot agree to the terms of this contract or are not able to pay and pick up your items within the specified terms of each auction. If you, as the winning bidder (Buyer), do not provide sufficient funds or fail to retrieve your item(s) within the scheduled pick-up times, you may incur fees. Multiple instances of not paying or retrieving your items will result in a permanent block from the Equip-Bid site. Any bidder caught opening a new account will be charged an additional $50 with the above warnings. This is considered fraudulent bidding and is not tolerated.
Shipping:Shipping is available. $5.00 Handling Fee on top of cost of shipping based. Once calculated we will text and/or email the shipping and handling cost which can be paid via credit card or venmo. Once paid, items will be shipped and tracking number texted and/or emailed to winning bidder.
All items are considered to be "Open Box". Our product listing team will make every effort to document the condition through pictures and/or descriptions. Ultimately, we know we are imperfect and, with the number of products listed, there will occasionally be items that need to be returned.
Return Eligible:Unless the lot description specifically says "Sold As-Is" - every item that is listed is eligible for a full return. This includes the hammer price, sales tax, handling fee, and buyer's premium paid on the invoice for the item being returned. Eligible items may qualify for a full return if they are non-functional. (If an inspection date is scheduled and the buyer fails to attend, a restocking fee of 30% will be deducted from any applicable refund.) What is not included in returns; Buyer's remorse, cosmetic issues (dents/dings/prior ownership), Missing pieces that are sold or could be purchased separately, color or size preferences and other reasons are not included in the product guarantee. This refund policy is subject to change at any point without prior notice.
Missing Parts, Damaged, Signs of prior ownership, Sold as-is:All sales are final - no refunds, Sold as-is. For items marked as Sold As-Is, there may be additional defects or missing parts that are not known to the seller.
All return requests must be made by completing our return request form within 48-hours of pickup to Mister Scott LLC. Items that are only missing hardware (bolts, screws, etc. that can be replaced by a trip to the hardware store or ordered) are excluded from refunds. Approval for return will be sent via email.
Return Window:We only have 2 weeks from the close of an auction to process all refunds. After that time, we are unable to assist with a refund - THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY!
Items are to be picked up during schedule removal times slots unless previous arrangements are made. As we do not have storage space, we can only hold onto an item for up to one week from the removal date before it is forfitted and listed in a future auction. It is the bidders responsiblilty, not ours to make alternate arrangements, if needed.
Pickup Days/Times:Pick-Up Times are subject to change, Please check the schedule for this auction Closed for Holidays, Bidders are allotted seven (7) pickup days after the auction close date to pick-up items.
No Courier Pickups Allowed:Mister Scott LLC does not permit any courier service to pickup products. This does not apply to spouses, family and friends who pick up items and are personally known by you as a bidder. Mister Scott LLC reserves the right to request government issued ID and to see the card that was used to pay for the invoice. Please expect to produce these items for any large purchases if you are not a regular Mister Scott LLC bidder.
Removal:Once a bidder has paid for and picked up their items, the items become the property of the winning bidder (buyer). The buyer assumes all risk of loss and damage to property from that point forward, including at the premises of the sale. Please bring your own help to remove items from the lot, and to help load items into vehicles, Please DO NOT rely on Mister Scott LLC members to help load and remove items, they will bring the item to you but that is all.
