Item appears to be in new condition. They may or may not be in the original box. They should work as expected, although there may be cosmetic blemishes. Eligible to apply for a refund if the item is non-functional.

These items are NOT complete items and sold as is. This could be an item missing one or more key components, an item being only hardware, or an unknown item that we feel is incomplete. When an item is listed as 'Parts Only' be sure to check the photos for an accurate depiction of what the item is. Incomplete items are not eligible for refunds.   *We do not give refunds for missing hardware   

 

Damaged:  

These items have known damage. We will do our best to describe / picture the damage. We don’t test for functionality. These could be items never used / owned, such as a lamp that had shipping damage to the shade, but never put together or used. Could be scratch and dent or could be totally broken. We encourage you to preview damaged items during our preview hours. Call if you have questions. Damaged items cannot be returned, sold as is.

Handling Fee:

An automatic $1.00 handling fee will be added to all lot items won at the end of the auction as an offset due to elevated freight and processing costs.

Inspection: This auction does offer scheduled inspection dates. Please email support@kcbids.com to schedule an inspection appointment upon request.

Payment: An automatic $1.00 handling fee will be added The default credit card on file with your account will be charged immediately following the close of the auction. If your payment is declined for any reason, you will not be able to pick up your items without paying. Payment onsite is accepted at this location in the form of exact cash or card. Invoices over $2,000 are not able to be paid by the credit card you have on file. You will need to pay with cash. Exact change is required on cash payments. If you, as the winning bidder (Buyer), do not provide sufficient funds or fail to retrieve your item(s) within the scheduled pick-up times, you may incur fees. Multiple instances of not paying or retrieving your items will result in a permanent block from the Equip-Bid site. Any bidder caught opening a new account will be charged an additional $50 with the above warnings. This is considered fraudulent bidding and is not tolerated.

Pick-UpIf you are unable to pick up your items during the scheduled pick-up times, do not bid. By bidding in an Equip-Bid auction, you are legally bound to be charged for all won items and are agreeing to remove them from the auction location. Standard pick-up times are Thursday 12:00 pm-6:30 pm, Friday 12:00 pm-3:00 pm, and Saturday 9:00-11:00. No Appointment is neededHolidays/weather may affect these hours, please review the individual auction details for any changes. If you need to make alternate arrangements, please email support@kcbids.comIf you are unable to pick up your items within that standard loadout times and did not contact support, items will be returned back to auction after 7 days from the original auction closing date.

Removal: Once a bidder has paid for and picked up their order/invoice, it becomes the property of the winning bidder (buyer). The buyer assumes all risk of loss, damage or missing items from that point forward.

Please come PREPARED to pick up your item(s). This means knowing your bidder ID, having a large enough vehicle / proper equipment, and parking with courtesy. Be cognizant of the size and/or quantity of items you are picking up and BRING A HELPER if you have accumulated multiple invoices or have a large/heavy item. If you do not come prepared and need assistance from our staff, you are charged an assistance fee. The assistance fee is as follows: 

Flat Rate: $20.00

If assistance from our staff is needed, we are not liable for any damage to the item(s) or the vehicle used. No refunds will be given if an item(s) is damaged during an assisted load-out. Acceptable methods of payment for your load out fee are EXACT cash (preferred), CashApp, or Credit Card..

If you fail to pick up your won items within the above timeframe, items will be forfeited and return back to auction. Regardless of any agreed upon storage of your items, all invoices must be paid by the end of regular scheduled removal. You are still liable for paying for your item(s) and will be charged at the default credit card on file, regardless of whether not you have picked up the items.

RefundsAll refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of picking up the item(s).  Email requests should be sent to support@kcbids.com. If your request is approved, the item(s) must be returned WITHIN 2 business days (unless we have discussed otherwise) after the refund request was approved BEFORE a refund is issued; otherwise, no refund will be given as no warranty is expressed or implied.   Please note that refunds are processed as soon as they are received but take 4-12 business days to process and return the money to your account.

Tax-Exempt Purchases: KC Bids, LLC will accept FULLY VERIFIED TAX EXEMPT CERTIFICATES. Tax Exempt customers will need to email all appropiaste information and copy of Certificate to  at support@kcbids.com. after end of auction. After acceptance of Certificate, Customer will be refunded to the qualified exemption.

Liability: KC Bids, LLC's liability shall be limited to the refund of the bidder's purchase price.

Limitations: The above-stated Terms cannot be altered except in writing by Equip-Bid.
