No appointment needed. Due to a large influx of bidders coming to pick up right at open each week, please be prepared for a longer than usual wait time to retrieve your items. If you cannot wait, please try to come at a later time. Please refer to your invoice for the exact dates for pickup.

If you are unable to pick up on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, all items will automatically be hold for at next monday for a $5 late fee PER invoice. If you have any questions or need a hold beyond the automatic week, you must email us at support@sunflowerbidhouse.com BEFORE the final day of the extra week.

 You must include your bidder ID# and item lot #'s you won, and we will hold for an additional $5 fee per invoice for one more week. Otherwise, you must pick up items on Monday–Wednesday. Items not claimed or requested for hold beyond that first automatic week are forfeited and no refunds will be given.

You must pay for winning items within 48 hours of auction end. Items not paid for within 48 hours are subject to forfeit and no-show status. If you receive a no-show for any reason, your account will be suspended and we will require full payment plus a $5 late fee to bring the account current. We will automatically mark any future open invoices as a no-show if they remain open and unpaid 48 hours after the close of the auction.

We have a 48-hour return policy on all factory sealed and appears new items if there is an issue with the item. Just contact us within 48 hours from pickup to claim a full refund. You must email support@sunflowerbidhouse.com within 48 hours of pickup time to make your claim. After claim, you have 3 business days to return the item. After 48 hours, you may not claim a refund. If after 3 business days you have not returned the item, no refund is allowed.

Please note our item condition explanations:
Factory Sealed – Item is new in box, never used, original product in the original box. Being new, we have not checked contents for function or damage. Full refund eligible within 48 hours.
Appears New – Item appears to be in new condition, not used. Item may or may not be in original box. Item should work as expected. We inspect that it is not pre-owned and complete. Box may be damaged, but contents are functional. Full refund eligible within 48 hours.
Open Box – Items in this category may vary in condition and can include lightly used or “Used – Good Condition” products. They may have been opened, handled, or returned to a retailer. Some items might show minor signs of previous use or assembly, and hardware or accessories could be missing. Items are generally still clean and functional but not tested for full performance. Sold as-is, and no returns are accepted on Open Box items.
Open Box Powers On – Same condition as open box, but we have verified that the item does power on. Unknown if item works completely. No returns allowed on Open Box Powers On.
Used – Good Condition – Identified as previously owned, while may have been returned. However, the condition is good, clean and functional. No returns allowed on Used labeled items.
Damaged – see photos. Item may be new, but have known damage. Damage is always photographed for your review prior to bidding. Could be scratch/dent only, could be as-is and not functional. No returns allowed on damage labeled items.

A $1 handling fee per item has been added to all auction items.

Handling Surcharge: An automatic $1.00 handling fee will be added to ALL LOT ITEMS won at the end of the auction as an offset due to elevated freight and processing costs.

Auction-specific terms and conditions for this affiliate are as follows.

Inspection: This auction does offer scheduled inspection dates. To schedule an inspection, you must contact us DURING our business hours a minimum of 24 HOURS before the auction closes. If you are unable to schedule an in-person inspection, we inspect the item(s) for you and answer your questions to the best of our ability. 

Payment: An automatic $1.00 handling fee will be added The default credit card on file with your account will be charged immediately following the close of the auction. If your payment is declined for any reason, you will not be able to pick up your items without paying.

Payment onsite is accepted at this location in the form of exact cash or card. Invoices over $2,000 are not able to be paid by the credit card you have on file. You will need to pay with cash. Exact change is required on cash payments. If you, as the winning bidder (Buyer), do not provide sufficient funds or fail to retrieve your item(s) within the scheduled pick-up times, you may incur fees. Multiple instances of not paying or retrieving your items will result in a permanent block from the Equip-Bid site. Any bidder caught opening a new account will be charged an additional $50 with the above warnings. This is considered fraudulent bidding and is not tolerated.

Pick-Up: If you are unable to pick up your items during the scheduled pick-up times, do not bid. By bidding in an Equip-Bid auction, you are legally bound to be charged for all won items and are agreeing to remove them from the auction location. No appointment necessary. Simply pick up your items during our standard pick-up times.

If you are unable to pick up your item(s) by the last available date and time presented on your invoice, you MUST text 913-701-7974 (preferred) or email us at support@sunflowerbidhouse.com, including your bidder ID, BEFORE the deadline given in the details and lot #1 description of the auction. When you reach out to us, we hold your items for a storage fee. There is a $5 late pick up/storage fee for any items not picked up by the last day listed on the invoice.  This is due to the increased number of hold requests and items being left each week.

Holds for all invoices expire EXACTLY one week after the last available pick-up date and time presented on the invoice.

Acceptable methods of payment for your storage fee are EXACT cash (preferred), Venmo, CashApp, or Credit Card. Note: you will NOT receive your item(s) until the storage fee is settled. 

If you fail to pick up your item(s) by the last available date and time presented on your invoice and have NOT let us know via text or email by the deadline given in the details and the lot #1 description of the auction, you will forfeit your item(s). They are put back on auction to be resold to the highest bidder. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. Regardless of any agreed upon storage of your items, all invoices must be paid by the end of regular scheduled removal. You are still liable for paying for your item(s) and will be charged at the default credit card on file, whether or not you have picked up the item(s).

Removal: Once a bidder has paid for and picked up their items, the items become the property of the winning bidder (buyer). The buyer assumes all risk of loss and damage to property from that point forward, including at the premises of the sale. 

It is the bidders responsibility to ensure that you have all of your items before you leave the property. We cannot guarantee anything once you leave.

Please come PREPARED to pick up your item(s). This means knowing your bidder ID, having a large enough vehicle / proper equipment, and parking with courtesy. Be cognizant of the size and/or quantity of items you are picking up and BRING A HELPER if you have accumulated multiple invoices or have a large/heavy item. If you do not come prepared and need assistance from our staff, you are charged an assistance fee. The assistance fee is as follows: 

If assistance from our staff is needed, we are not liable for any damage to the item(s) or the vehicle used. No refunds will be given if an item(s) is damaged during an assisted load-out.

Refunds: If you receive an "Appears New" or "Factory Sealed" item that is damaged, does not work, or is missing pieces and it was not listed as such in the description, you are eligible to apply for a refund. Photos are considered part of the item description. All refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of picking up the item(s). If your request is approved, the item(s) must be returned WITHIN 2 business days (unless we have discussed otherwise) after the refund request was approved BEFORE a refund is issued. If you are returning an “Appears New” or “Factory Sealed” item, it must be returned BOXED in “Appears New” condition or we may charge a 20% restocking fee. Otherwise, no refund will be given as no warranty is expressed or implied.   Please note that refunds are processed as soon as they are received but take 4-12 business days to process and return the money to your account. 

Liability: Sunflower Bid House's liability shall be limited to the refund of the bidder's purchase price.

Limitations: The above-stated Terms cannot be altered except in writing by Equip-Bid

Shipping Policy:

You must contact us once the auction has closed and your item has been paid to request shipping.  All shipping will be through USPS or UPS and take 3 to 5 business days to receive No items over 20 lbs will be eligible for shipping without an additional handling fee.  You will be provided with a tracking number and signature verification will be required unless you specifically ask us to exclude that.  Once your item is picked up, we consider it delivered.  The fee for shipping varies, anywhere from $12.00 to over $100, depending on the size, weight, and zip code where the item will be shipped to.  Please keep this cost in mind when bidding. If you request shipping and we process that and provide cost, then you decide to pick up in person, there will be a $5 handling fee added, per invoice, to be able to retrieve your items.  Please keep in mind, the cost of shipping will increase sunstantially based on size and weight of the items being shipped.  Please keep this in mind when bidding, as we are not responbsible for items won and the expense to ship is more than the items  NO REFUNDS will be given in these instances.

Home Delivery Terms and Conditions:

Home delivery is available within a 75-mile radius of our warehouse, upon request and subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis. Delivery is primarily intended for larger items requiring a larger vehicle, such as a box truck. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The home delivery fee is $150, payable in full at the time of scheduling. Deliveries are available by appointment only and are currently limited to Saturdays, with two available delivery windows:

9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

To schedule a delivery, all invoices must be paid in full, including the delivery fee.

Delivery will be made to the front door or garage. If the desired space within the home is clear and easily accessible, our team may place the item in the location of your choice, at their discretion. We do not assemble, disassemble, or relocate any items at the delivery location. Additionally, we do not remove or dispose of existing items, including furniture, mattresses, or appliances.

Cancellation Policy:

All delivery cancellations must be submitted in writing to support@sunflowerbidhouse.com no less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery time.

 

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in the forfeiture of the delivery fee.

Any open invoices paid by credit card in person and not on the Equip Bid site will be charged an additional 2% processing fee.    

While Equip Bid is requireing appointments for removal, we are not enforcing the appointments at this time and bidders do not need to contact us to reschedule if you miss your appointment time.  Bidders may come at anytime during our normal pick days and times to retreive their itmes.

Due to high demand at the time of open for the first eligible pick up day, there may and will most liekly be a delay in retrieving your items.  We have a limited staff and it may be quicker for bidders to come at a later time.  If you do come at open, please be patient while our staff works to retrieve you items.  If this becomes an ongoing issue, we will be forced to start enforcing the pick up appointment times.
