Now, he brings his talents directly to your kitchen.
This exclusive package includes a private dinner for up to 8 guests, prepared and served in your home by Chef Ruben himself. You’ll work directly with the chef to craft a customized seasonal menu, featuring fresh, locally inspired ingredients and tailored to your tastes—whether you lean classic, adventurous, or somewhere in between. From the first bite to the final course, your evening will be marked by elegance, flavor, and unforgettable hospitality.
The dinner will take place on a mutually agreed upon date in the fall of 2025. All ingredients and food costs are included.
Chef Ruben is generously donating this experience to support Geeks for Kids, a program that builds custom electric cars for children with mobility challenges. Your bid helps give a child the power to move, play, and belong.

Buyer’s Premium
An 18% Buyer’s Premium (BP) will be applied to all items sold in this auction. The full 18% BP will be donated directly to Geeks for Kids, a division of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit LEARN Science and Math Club (hereinafter referred to as “LEARN”).
Equip-Bid.com will cover all credit card processing fees and administrative expenses, ensuring the entire BP supports LEARN’s mission.
Proceeds
100% of all proceeds from this auction, including the Buyer’s Premium, benefit Geeks for Kids and LEARN.
Sales Tax
No sales tax will be collected on any items in this auction, as it is a charitable fundraiser.
Item Pickup Locations
Items may be located at multiple pickup sites. Please refer to each item’s description for its specific pickup location and instructions.
Vehicle Titles
All vehicles sold will include a clear title. Buyers must notify Equip-Bid.com of their desired titling information prior to taking possession of the vehicle. Title will be signed accordingly.
Payment Requirements
For any item with a final purchase price exceeding $2,500, payment must be made via wire transfer or bank transfer. Payment must be made payable to either Equip-Bid.com or LEARN Science and Math Club, as instructed in your invoice.
Information Sharing with LEARN
