This is an online-only auction bound by all legal rights and remedies in the state in which the auction occurs. Auction-specific terms and conditions for this affiliate are as follows.
Inspection: This auction does offer scheduled inspection dates. Call the affiliate at 913-486-5394 to schedule an inspection time within the provided hours below.
Payment: The default credit card on file with your account will be charged immediately at the close of the auction. If your payment is declined for any reason, you will not be able to pick up your items without paying.
Payment onsite is NOT accepted at this location except for any lot storage and/org handling fee when this arrangement has been made with This & That KC, LLC. If removal is at any other location, payment must be made prior to, and a Paid in Full invoice must be presented when picking up.
If This & That KC, LLC is required to transport any lot to another location for loadout, a $5.00/lot fee will be charged as cash or via PayPal at the time the lot(s) are picked up by the buyer. All alternative laodout arrangements must be made within 24 hours of the auction closing and must. be paid by cash or via PayPal.
Invoices over $2,000 are not able to be paid by the credit card you have on file. You will need to pay with cash, wire, or a cashier’s check. Exact change is required on cash payments. If you, as the winning bidder (Buyer), do not provide sufficient funds or fail to retrieve your item(s) within the scheduled pick-up times, you may incur fees. Multiple instances of not paying or retrieving your items will result in a permanent block from the Equip-Bid site. Any bidder caught opening a new account will be charged an additional $50 with the above warnings. This is considered fraudulent bidding and is not tolerated.
Pick-Up:If you are unable to pick up your items during the scheduled pick-up times, do not bid. By bidding in an Equip-Bid auction, you are legally bound to be charged for all won items and are agreeing to remove them from the auction location. In order to pick up your won items, you will need to schedule an appointment on your invoice page.
If you fail to pick up your won items within the above timeframe, you will forfeit the items. Regardless of any agreed upon storage of your items, all invoices must be paid by the end of regular scheduled removal. You are still liable for paying for your item(s) and will be charged at the default credit card on file, regardless of whether not you have picked up the items.
Removal: Once a bidder has paid for and picked up their items, the items become the property of the winning bidder (buyer). The buyer assumes all risk of loss and damage to property from that point forward, including at the premises of the sale.
Refunds: If you receive an item that is damaged, does not work, or is missing pieces and it was not listed as such in the description, you are eligible to apply for a refund. No refunds will be given if pick-up times are missed. Utilize offered inspection times to view items. Inspection appointments can be made by calling 913-486-5394. Please note that refunds are processed as soon as they are received but take 4-12 business days to process and return the money to your account.
Tax-Exempt Purchases: Tax-exempt forms must be provided to each independent affiliate—tax-exempt statuses are not stored with your Equip-Bid account. If this is your first tax-exempt purchase with This & That KC, LLC, contact us at 913-486-5934. After providing tax-exempt forms to this affiliate, contact us to remove tax from each invoice and we will adjust your invoice before processing your payment.
Liability: This & That KC, LLC's liability shall be limited to the refund of bidder's purchase price.
Limitations: The above-stated Terms cannot be altered except in writing by Equip-Bid.
Shipping is NOT available on this auction. The fee is $5.00 per invoice, plus the cost of packaging, UPS charges, and insurance where warranted. We are unable to quote shipping expense until you have won the Lots.
If you are the High Bidder we will charge the credit card you have on file with Equip-Bid at the conclusion of the auction. Due to the Covid-19 rules with Equip-Bid you MUST schedule a time to pick up your items during the planned loadout time and date. Loadout appointments are made using your Dashboard at Equip-Bid.com, or by clicking through the section of your invoice that designates a way to schedule an appointment. If you fail to loadout your items during scheduled loadout time of this auction, and have not made other loadout arrangements, you will either forfeit the item, or pay a $5.00 per Lot special coordinated cash fee at the time of eventual pickup.
