I am not open during the week unless otherwise stated in each auctions details. If you can not make it during posted removal days you must contact me by the end of the day on the last removal day to set up an alternate pick up time or items will be forfeited without refund.
I would kindly ask all bidders to please use the Removal Scheduling System. By using the scheduling system it allows us to be better prepared each day and be able to get your item(s) to you quicker and more efficiently.
Please come prepared with the right vehicle and adequate help if needed. You know what item(s) you are picking up and should be able to plan accordingly.
We offer a 48-hour guarantee on all items (unless item is listed as damage or incomplete).
We try to visually inspect items for any obvious damage and post our items with as much accuracy as possible, but we dont always see every defect and cannot plug everything in and test for functionality.
The products we sell are online returns, overstock items, surplus inventory, in-store returns, delivery refusals, bulk volume sales, and sometimes things appear to be fine, but then don’t work. . . therefore

What is the 48-hour guarantee?
• We are guaranteeing for functionality only. NOT cosmetic condition, color, size, completeness / parts, etc.
• Buyer must contact us within 48 hours of pick up time to make claim. (after 48 hours, no refund)
• After claim is filed, Item needs to be returned to seller within 5 business days.
• After 5 business days, guarantee is null and void, no refunds will be given.

Inspection: This auction does offer scheduled inspection dates. Please call the affiliate at 816-507-2304 to schedule an inspection appointment upon request.
Payment: The default credit card on file with your account will be charged by 10:00 pm the day the auction closes. If your payment is declined for any reason, you will not be able to pick up your items without paying. Payment onsite is NOT accepted at this location. Invoices over $2,000 are not able to be paid by the credit card you have on file. You will need to pay with cash, wire, or a cashier’s check. Exact change is required on cash payments. If you, as the winning bidder (Buyer), do not provide sufficient funds or fail to retrieve your item(s) within the scheduled pick-up times, you may incur fees. Multiple instances of not paying or retrieving your items will result in a permanent block from the Equip-Bid site. Any bidder caught opening a new account will be charged an additional $50 with the above warnings. This is considered fraudulent bidding and is not tolerated.
Pick-Up: If you are unable to pick up your items during the scheduled pick-up times, do not bid. By bidding in an Equip-Bid auction, you are legally bound to be charged for all won items and are agreeing to remove them from the auction location.
If you fail to pick up your won items within the above timeframe, items will be forfeited and return back to auction. Regardless of any agreed upon storage of your items, all invoices must be paid by the end of regular scheduled removal. You are still liable for paying for your item(s) and will be charged at the default credit card on file, regardless of whether not you have picked up the items.
Removal: Once a bidder has paid for and picked up their items, the items become the property of the winning bidder (buyer). The buyer assumes all risk of loss and damage to property from that point forward, including at the premises of the sale. If you feel you have won an item and have not received an email, you must notify the Equip-Bid office by email or phone no later than 9:00 am the day following the auction's close.
Refunds: If you receive an item that is damaged, does not work, or is missing pieces and it was not listed as such in the description, you are eligible to apply for a refund. Otherwise no refunds will be given as there is no expressed or implied warranty of items. Please note that refunds are processed as soon as they are received but take 4-12 business days to process and return the money to your account.
Tax-Exempt Purchases: Tax-exempt forms must be provided to each independent affiliate—tax-exempt statuses are not stored with your Equip-Bid account. If this is your first tax-exempt purchase with Shelton Contracting, contact us at 816-507-2304 before 9:00pm or the card on file will be charged. After providing tax-exempt forms to this affiliate, contact us to remove tax from each invoice and we will adjust your invoice before processing your payment.
Liability: Shelton Contracting's liability shall be limited to the refund of the bidder's purchase price.
Limitations: The above-stated Terms cannot be altered except in writing by Equip-Bid.
