We have gone to an online scheduled pick up.  After the last item on the auction closes you get your invoice; by email, at the top of your invoice screen, you will see a scheduler for pick up.  Select a time, and then be there during that time.  

 

The products we sell are online returns, overstock items, surplus inventory, delivery refusals, and undeliverables.

4 Levels of Product Condition

Factory Sealed: New in box, never used, original product, in original box.  We stand behind the listing as described.  Being “new”, we have not checked for function / internal damage.  Bid with confidence!  Any problems with these items must be reported within 48 hours from time of pick up in order to return.

Appears New: Item appears to be in new condition, not used.  They may or may not be in the original box.  They should work as expected.  We inspect for the following:

  • Does not appear to have been pre-owned
  • Item is complete enough to run / work as needed
  • Box may be damaged, however, internal contents are functional
  • (We stand behind this item to work as it's supposed to; these items still could have slight cosmetic defects, missing accessories, or hardware.  We do our best to point out such instances.  
  • We guarantee for functionality (your item is guaranteed to work) bid with confidence.  Call within 48 hours of pickup time; no guarantee beyond 48 hours.

Open box:  Open Box represents several conditions, such as incomplete, pre-owned, new but not verified for condition, untested; could be fully functioning, or DOA, we have not necessarily tested.  Open Box items may not be returned, sold as is. No Refunds.

Damaged:  These items have known damage.  We will do our best to describe / picture the damage.  We don’t necessarily test for functionality.  These could be items never used / owned, such as a grill that had shipping damage to the lid, but never put together or used.  Could be scratch and dent, or could be totally broken, also may incomplete / missing items.  Call if you have questions Damaged items cannot be returned, sold as is. No Refunds.

Payment: The default credit card on file with your account will be charged by 10:00 am the morning following the close of the auction. If your payment is declined for any reason, you will not be able to pick up your items without paying. Regardless of pick-up location, all payment arrangements must be made within one (1) business day (M-F) of the auction closing. If invoice payment arrangements are not made by this time, you authorize your card on file to be charged for the total amount of your invoice plus a $25.00 late fee. No late fees will be removed from an invoice once they are added. 

Payment onsite is accepted at this location in the form of cash, but please make sure to call/text 402-730-0903 BEFORE 10:00 am the morning following the close of the auction to let us know. Otherwise, your card on file will be charged. Invoices over $2,000 are not able to be paid by the credit card you have on file. You will need to pay with cash, wire, or a cashier’s check. Exact change is required on cash payments. If you, as the winning bidder (Buyer), do not provide sufficient funds or fail to retrieve your item(s) within the scheduled pick-up times, you may incur fees. Multiple instances of not paying or retrieving your items will result in a permanent block from the Equip-Bid site. Any bidder caught opening a new account will be charged an additional $50 with the above warnings. This is considered fraudulent bidding and is not tolerated.

Pick-Up: If you are unable to pick up your items during the scheduled pick-up times, do not bid. By bidding in an Equip-Bid auction, you are legally bound to be charged for all won items and are agreeing to remove them from the auction location. In order to pick up your won items, you will need to schedule an appointment on your invoice page. If you cannot make loadout during the scheduled times, call BEFORE you bid to see if we can make arrangements. There is no guarantee of alternative pick-up times. If someone else picks up your item(s) for you, have them bring a copy of your invoice (paper or electronic).

If you fail to pick up your won items within the selected scheduled timeframe, you will be charged a $15.00 late fee which you will have to pay in-person. Items not picked up within 7 days of the end of the auction will be considered abandoned and no refunds will be given. Regardless of any agreed upon storage of your items, all invoices must be paid by the end of regular scheduled removal. You are still liable for paying for your item(s) and will be charged at the default credit card on file, regardless of whether not you have picked up the items.

Removal: Once a bidder has paid for and picked up their items, the items become the property of the winning bidder (buyer). The buyer assumes all risk of loss and damage to property from that point forward, including at the premises of the sale. If you feel you have won an item and it is not shown on your invoice page, please contact the Equip-Bid office by 9:00 am the morning following the close of the auction.

Refunds: If you receive an item that is damaged, does not work, or is missing pieces and it was not listed as such in the description, you are eligible to apply for a refund. For items marked Factory Sealed, please report any problems within 48 hours of pick up in order to return. If marked Appears New, we guarantee your item for functionality (no other guarantee), so please call within 48 hours of pick-up. Otherwise, no other refunds will be given as there is no expressed or implied warranty of items. Please note that refunds are processed as soon as they are received but take 4-12 business days to process and return the money to your account.

Tax-Exempt Purchases: Tax-exempt forms must be provided to each independent affiliate—tax-exempt statuses are not stored with your Equip-Bid account.
